About Stuart Zagnit

Stuart Zagnit is an accomplished stage, television, and voice actor whose career spans Broadway, television, film, and animation. He is best known to Pokémon fans as the original voice of Professor Oak, the iconic mentor who welcomed millions of fans into the world of Pokémon.

In addition to Professor Oak, Stuart also voiced Koga, the Fuchsia City Gym Leader and Elite Four member, and later Professor Cedric Juniper, expanding his legacy across multiple Pokémon series, films, and video games.

Beyond Pokémon, Stuart has appeared on Broadway in productions including Seussical and Harmony, voiced characters in numerous animated series, and has appeared in television shows including Law & Order, The Blacklist, The Good Wife, 30 Rock, and Elementary.
